Hi, I’m Cheryl 👋
I’m a product-driven operator working at the intersection of systems, people, and digital experience. My career began inside complex banking environments, where I learned how regulation, operations, and customer journeys intertwine — and how easily complexity slows progress when systems aren’t designed well.
Over time, I realised my strength wasn’t just executing processes, but understanding how they could be improved. I naturally gravitate toward messy problems: environments where clarity doesn’t yet exist, stakeholders see different realities, and teams need structure to move forward.
I combine analytical thinking with creative problem solving — translating ambiguity into clear direction, aligning teams around shared understanding, and helping ideas evolve into usable products.
How I Think
I approach work through a systems lens.
Rather than focusing on isolated features or outputs, I look at how decisions ripple across users, operations, risk, and technology. This perspective allows me to identify friction early, anticipate unintended consequences, and design solutions that work in real-world conditions.
Being neurodivergent shapes how I work: I notice patterns others miss, question assumptions instinctively, and remain deeply curious about how things could function better. What once felt different has become one of my greatest professional advantages.
What I Bring to Teams
Clarity in ambiguity
Structured problem framing
Strong stakeholder alignment
Early-stage product thinking
Visual communication that accelerates decision-making
A bias toward momentum and continuous improvement
I’m most energised in environments building something new — whether launching products, evolving platforms, or redefining how teams operate.
Direction
I’m continuing to grow into product leadership roles where I can help organisations move from complexity to clarity, particularly within fintech, platform products, and mission-driven spaces.
Long term, I’m driven by building meaningful products of my own — combining physical and digital experiences that genuinely improve everyday life.
